Job Responsibilities
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Looker’s visualization capabilities
- Implement best practices for LookML performance, including caching and data modeling techniques
- Create and maintain LookML models that define the data structure and business rules for analysis
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency by validating data using Looker’s SQL Runner
- Offer technical guidance on Looker best practices, data modeling, and architecture
- Integrate Looker with other tools and platforms for comprehensive data visualization and analysis
- Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage LookML code and ensure efficient collaboration
Job Requirements
- A solid understanding of LookML syntax, data modeling concepts, and best practices
- Ability to interpret complex data and identify actionable insights
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with stakeholders
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries is essential for working with LookML
- Experience with data warehousing platforms like BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift
