Job Responsibilities
- Support automation efforts by contributing to test scripts and reusable validation frameworks where applicable.
- Use tools such as Git and defect tracking platforms to support collaborative delivery and testing processes.
- Monitor application behaviour, analyse root causes of issues, and recommend improvements to quality and reliability.
- Participate in unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance support.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define quality criteria.
Job Requirements
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
- Familiarity with test automation concepts and tools such as Selenium or similar frameworks.
- Awareness of API testing, integration testing concepts, and quality assurance best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyse defects, identify root causes, validate fixes, and improve overall software quality.
- Knowledge of manual testing, defect tracking, and test case design.
