Job Responsibilities
- Data Verification: Verify the accuracy of entered data by meticulously comparing it to the source documents, detecting and rectifying any discrepancies to maintain data integrity
- Data Retrieval: Respond to requests by retrieving specific data from the database or electronic files, delivering the required information in a timely and organized manner
- Data Entry and Conversion: Utilize keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners to input data accurately and promptly from paper formats, electronic documents, and other data sources into our database system
- Quality Control: Implement data quality control procedures to identify and resolve errors, duplicates, or incomplete entries, ensuring the database’s reliability
- Communication: Collaborate with team members to understand data entry requirements and maintain effective communication to ensure smooth workflow and accuracy
- Data Updating: Regularly update existing data in the database to reflect changes and ensure that information remains current and relevant
Job Requirements
- Exceptional typing speed and accuracy, with the ability to handle large volumes of data without compromising precision
- Solid organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in data entry or related fields are a plus
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining data accuracy
- Proven experience as a Data Entry Specialist or similar role, showcasing proficiency in accurate and efficient data entry
- Familiarity with data verification and quality control processes
