Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain automated data pipelines for data ingestion from various sources
- Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data ingestion and processing
- Implement data manipulations to ensure data is ready for downstream applications
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its core services
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Hands-on experience with BigQuery and other essential GCP resources (e.g., Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
