Job Description

Job Responsibilities
- Contract Associate will thoroughly diagnose client business needs, collaborate with client legal counsel, and work with third party suppliers to maximize customer value while mitigating risk
- Close collaborate with client business stakeholders to secure a thorough understanding of client business needs for the supplier relationship
- Prepare/review contract abstracts, contract terms interpretation, and various contract/system research activities as needed for client
- Track all tasks in support of personal and team SLA goals and metrics as well as status visibility to Requesters
- Provide training support to peers, new team members, and client as needed
Job Requirements
- Ability to review supplier proposals, understand the contract scope, and identify risk and unfavorable business or legal terms proposed while applying redlines and escalating to decision makers as appropriate
- Ability to convert ambiguous and/or informal language often contained within proposals or internal requirements documents into tightly defined contract language
- Provide information and documentation for audit and reporting purpose
- Strong writing and grammar skills
- Excellent internal and external negotiation skills
