Job Responsibilities
- Assist in system builds, configuration, patches, and upgrades
- Apply working knowledge about system methodologies, designs, and troubleshooting techniques
- Develop creative and practical solutions to resolve non-routine problems
- Monitor, detect, and triage issues of varying complexity
- Develop tools to automate deployment, administration, and monitoring
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of one scripting language, such as Python or JavaScript
- BS in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Experience with Linux and Operating System principles
- Knowledge of one system language, such as C, C++, Go
- Ability to empathize with non-technical audiences and engineers whose area of interest or experience lies outside SRE and Infrastructure
- Experience with cloud best practices and services
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, HTTP, application security, monitoring, and storage
