Job Responsibilities
- Implement and configure application functionality including user interfaces, business rules, workflows and complex logic
- Provide feedback on processes and drive both technology change as well as product insight
- The Platform Engineer is a primary resource for technical design, development, testing, support and ongoing maintenance end-to-end ownership for platform applications
- Contribute to ongoing development of the team’s processes, procedures and best practices
- Work with support teams to troubleshoot issues and determine root cause
- Ability to multi task and take ownership of own progress & tasks
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in one of the following languages C#, Java, C++, Ruby
- Problem Solving skills and ability to swim in ambiguity
- Ideally, experience with node.js for Server Side JavaScript development
- Experience with at least one major server side web development stack
- Strong verbal communications, cross-group collaboration skills, analytical, structured and strategic thinking
