Job Responsibilities
- Develop detailed test cases and test scripts based on project requirements and functional specifications
- Document and report defects, track their status, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation, including test cases, test results, and testing procedures
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and verify that they have been resolved in subsequent releases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide input on design and usability from a testing perspective
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in an agile development environment
- Proficiency in test automation using tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar
